Why do we have to update new firmware?

>>> Because there are lots of problems in previous version have been solve, moreover, the new firmware includes plenty of cool tools as well as technologies.

To update new firmware for NOKIA 5800 express music or Symbiam OS S60 V5 (NOKIA touch screen models) is much more easier compare to S60 V3. You don’t have to worry about your personal data lost, you don’t have to update via PC or USB connection, and using Nokia Software Updater. The only one thing you need is internet connection, can be via GPRS, 3G, EDGE, or WiFi (the best way).

1- in telephone mode press key, *#0000# then your firmware information shows,

2- Press Options then Select Check for update, then your phone will ask to connect to the internet, press Yes

3- If your firmware is update-able your phone will confirm you to allow download

4- After download finished your phone will update its firmware automatically

5- Automatically restart, and you’ve DONE firmware updating.

6- Enjoy!

*** Current firmware version for 5800 express music is V 40.0.0005, dated 29-12-2009….

*** phone’s  battery shall be charged or better full charged.

After upgrading or changing new OS most of HP and Compaq users are facing to Fingerprint device problem. Based on my latest experience, I’d like to share some troubleshooting tips;

1- download driver and application from HP website first Dirver / Application (the most difficult thing to find in HP website)

- Driver : go to HP.com/support (find your product driver by your product ID >>> EX. HP Pavilion DV3 …)

- Click to download Application (DigitalPersona) for your fingerprint device 32bit or x86 / 64bit

2- Disable your anti-virus program and install Driver then reboot your PC

3- Install Fingerprint Application (DigitalPersona) then restart your PC

4- Setup your personal identification
